“Kazakhstan is purely an Asian country”
Partly true. The United Nations classifies Kazakhstan as part of Central Asia. However, if the Europe–Asia boundary is drawn along the Ural River — a convention used by many geographers — the western tip of Kazakhstan falls on the European side. The answer depends on which boundary definition is used.
